Our family has spent 12 years on the SSMO campus. We have been, and continue to be, very pleased with the education our children are receiving at Valley Catholic. The Sisters of St. Mary of Oregon have been educating children for more than 100 years. But now, we are in great need of a new school to educate our K-8th graders. We have outgrown our current building in terms of space as well as technology. What better way to invest in our children's future than through their education? We have chosen to contribute to the SSMO Foundation to do just that ... invest in the education of not only our own children, but the many children educated at Valley Catholic and the many who will follow. We hope you will join us in supporting this campaign.
When we first heard about plans to build a new K-8 school, we couldn’t help but start counting on our fingers how old each of our six children would be when construction was complete. We realized that at least two of ours would attend! While we have enjoyed the charm that comes from having the school housed in the Convent and portables, we also know that our K-8 students need their own space to thrive and learn. They need state-of-the-art computer labs and science facilities to match the high level of excellence they achieve in the classroom. We couldn’t be more excited to help give our children, their friends and future Valley students the gift of a new school. I hope that you join us to make this dream a reality.
